What is NSI SAM-e?

S-adenosyl methionine (SAM) is a precursor of glutathione, the body’s main cellular antioxidant in the liver.

A major methyl donor in the brain that is involved in the pathways for synthesis of hormones, neurotransmitters, nucleic acids, proteins, and phospholipids.

Directions
Take 1 tablet per day on an empty stomach, or as directed by a physician.
Warnings
Individuals using prescribed medications, such as antidepressants, including Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors and MAO Inhibitors, should consult a physician before using. Individuals with Parkinson’s disease, bipolar disorder or manic depression should not use SAM-e. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not exceed recommended dose. May cause gastrointestinal upset in some persons. If you experience discomfort, discontinue use.
